Overview
Part of the mustard family, Mizuna has a very mild mustard flavor that is not overpowering. Its fast-growing and has oval to heart-shaped leaves that are attached to a slender stem. Ideal for salads. When and where to plant: Broadcast sow in shallow containers year round in an indoor location with bright light. Supplemental bottom heat may aid germination. Care: Keep evenly moist by watering from the bottom and rotate the container for even light coverage if needed. Harvesting: Harvest as soon as the second set of leaves form by making a clean cut through the base of stems with sharp scissors. Storage: Store seed in cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.Specifications
